Who We Are
A one-person blog about affordable analytics.
StatsCheap.com is operated by Alex Cheapman from Warsaw, Poland. Our website address is https://statscheap.com. This privacy policy explains how we handle any information collected when you visit our site.

What We Collect
As little as possible. Here’s the full list.
▶ Server Logs
Like every website, our web server automatically logs basic connection data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and troubleshooting, and are deleted regularly.
▶ Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the website to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies. Our CDN provider (Cloudflare) may set a technical cookie for security and performance purposes.
▶ Email Correspondence
If you email us at [email protected], we store your message and email address to respond to your inquiry. We never add you to any mailing list, and we never share your email with third parties.
▶ What We Don’t Collect
We do not collect personal information through forms, account registrations, or comment systems (comments are disabled). We do not run remarketing pixels, social media trackers, or behavioral advertising scripts. We do not sell, trade, or rent any visitor data to anyone.
Third-Party Services
Services that interact with your visit
🛡️
Cloudflare CDN
We use Cloudflare for content delivery, DDoS protection, and SSL. Cloudflare may process your IP address and set a security cookie. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
📦
WordPress
Our site runs on self-hosted WordPress. The WordPress software may set technical cookies for site functionality. No data is sent to WordPress.com or Automattic.
🔍
Yoast SEO
We use Yoast SEO for search engine optimization. This plugin operates server-side and does not set tracking cookies or collect visitor data.
Your Rights
You’re in control of your data.
Under the GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations, you have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data from our systems
- Object to processing of your data
- Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format
Since we collect minimal data, most of these requests are straightforward. Email [email protected] and I’ll respond within 48 hours.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we’ll note the changes here with a new “last updated” date. No surprises, no hidden changes.
For a site about analytics transparency, it would be pretty hypocritical to be shady about privacy. We keep it simple because we believe in keeping it honest.
